Who We Are
Waldorf Concrete Driveways is a local concrete company serving Waldorf and Charles County, Maryland. We do one thing: pour concrete flatwork — driveways, patios, walkways, and the repairs that keep them going. No siding, no roofing, no kitchen remodels on the side. Concrete is our craft, and that focus shows in every slab we finish.
We started this company because we kept seeing the same story across Southern Maryland: driveways cracking in five years, slabs sinking at the garage apron, surfaces spalling after a few winters. Most of the time, the problem was not the concrete itself. It was what was under it — thin base, no reinforcement, wrong mix for freeze-thaw, joints cut too far apart or not at all. Shortcuts during the pour show up fast in Maryland's clay soil and winter cycles. So we pour the slow, right way: proper excavation, compacted base, the right mix, and joints where they belong.
How We Work
- We look before we quote. Every project starts with an on-site visit. We check your soil, your drainage, your access, and what is failing (if anything). Then you get a written quote — no ballpark guesses over the phone.
- We build for Maryland. Air-entrained 4,000 PSI concrete, 4 to 6 inches of compacted gravel base, control joints every 8 to 12 feet, proper slope for drainage. Every slab, every time.
- We communicate. You know the schedule, you know the price, and you know what is happening each day on your property. No vanishing contractors.
- We finish clean. Forms pulled, edges tooled, site left tidy. And we tell you exactly how to cure and care for your new concrete in its first critical weeks.
What We Pour
New concrete driveways, full driveway replacements, patios in plain, stamped, and exposed aggregate finishes, walkways, steps, repairs, resurfacing, sealing, demolition, and commercial flatwork.
Serving Our Neighbors
We work exclusively in Waldorf and Charles County — La Plata, White Plains, Bryans Road, Indian Head, Hughesville, and the surrounding communities. Being local means we know the soil, the drainage patterns, the HOA rules in Waldorf's subdivisions, and what finishes hold up in this climate. When you hire us, you are hiring neighbors.
